Sunday we attended a great event for a great cause...APRON! It was a record year on so many counts and couldn't had happened at a better time with many locally owned restaurant employees in need which is what APRON is all about. Apron is a local charity that helps independently owned restaurant workers in their time of need. I am proud to be a board member and have witnessed first hand how important they are to our community. It was great to see so many from our community supporting the cause helping others and having a great time too. We enjoyed 30 of the Metro areas finest chefs while listening to the beautiful sounds of Robbie Bartlett. Of course you must wash it down and there were plenty of options available including a Makers Mark Root beer float that was very yummy from The Comfy Cow. Perhaps someone with the initials JAZ also made a few silent auction purchases too and why not there were so many great items to choose from.
